Our Service Offerings
We offer one-on-one personal coaching. Our unique coaching approach was developed by Dr Brian Bauerle and his coaching community. The coaching style is not formulaic, it’s intuitive drawing from the rich philosophical traditions of the east and the more scientific, therapeutic practices of the west. This can be done in person, at the client’s office or at our offices in Singapore and other locations. Many of our clients find on-line coaching to be most efficient given their busy schedules. We personally prefer a hybrid model when possible. However, we work at our client’s convenience.
The transformative impact of retreat-based coaching is well-established and attested to by retreat alumni. The underlying concept is to pull executives out of their day-to-day situation and bring them to a relaxing and supportive environment which promotes health & wellness and encourages new thinking. The retreat usually runs for three days and includes coaching sessions in the morning and afternoon. Diet is healthy. Rest, relaxation and somatic work (gentle yoga, massage, sauna, etc…) are encouraged, as relaxing the body and mind can foster new perspectives. These retreats can be done at our affiliated Asian Leadership Institute’s dedicated retreat centers in Thailand and North America. However, if travelling there is not easy for new clients, these unique retreats can be conducted in other appropriately bespoke locations.

Business Family Coaching:
We developed these offerings to address the specific needs of business families. A trained family system coach works with individual and collective family members to identify key issues and blockages to family effectiveness, harmony, and business success. Each family member is engaged individually and collectively on these key issues through skillful interventions. Some of our coaches have extensive experience with adolescents, so we are able to offer a complete service to key family members. Family coaching is often done through a retreat-based approach. Next Generation Business Leader Coaching:
ALIEC is developing an approach to support rising generation family business leaders prepare to take the mantle of family business leadership.
In today’s business world, couples are often both in senior management positions, or may be pursuing (or wanting to pursue) their individual challenging careers. We offer couples coaching as a service to them. Each partner has their own coach and pursues their own objectives and personal practices. However, through the coaching process, these are brought together in jointly facilitated sessions to address common goals and challenges. This can be done through retreat-based coaching or in the usual coaching format of regular and recurring sessions.

Relationship Based
We believe that much of the effectiveness of coaching rests on the personal chemistry between the coach and the executive. Thus, matching a client with a coach with whom the executive feels comfortable and can confide is a critical factor in successful coaching. It is important that both client and coach believe they can form an effective alliance in the work to be done. Trust and strict confidentiality are key foundations in our coaching approach.
Tailored Solutions
Each client is unique, with their own particular personal history, context and challenges. Each client’s transformation journey has its own starting point, goals and path. We don’t believe in “one size fits all” or exclusively process-driven coaching models. Our coaches bring a wide array of coaching tools and techniques. These are tailored to meet clients’ specific needs.
Partnership Model
We strongly believe that clients hold the answers to their challenges. We work together with clients to help them develop insights which lead to greater self-awareness. Ultimately, the coaching relationship is about a partnership to enable our clients to access their inner wisdom to make a transformation and achieve their goals.
Whole Person Perspective
Clients’ issues are complex and multi-dimensional. They often intersect across dimensions of their professional, personal, family, and spiritual lives. Our coaches bring an integrated perspective in working with clients and appropriately inject their own insights, experience and capabilities into the relationship. Our coaches have extensive life and professional experience and achievement. In addition to their coaching capabilities, they bring their experience and expertise to their client work.
Change Through a Practice Model
We use a practice model to help embed behavioral change. With our clients and their stakeholders, we jointly identify behavior patterns which impede leadership effectiveness. This helps to identify and prioritize changes which will have the most transformative impact. We work with clients to develop a practice to affect the behavioral changes required. Neuroscience research validates and informs our approach. We believe change is best done as a collective effort with team members helping to reinforce the practice through a “positive conspiracy”. For us, a positive conspiracy is a social agreement in which leaders and their teams (and other stakeholders) strive to create a collaborative culture of psychological safety, feedback and growth.
Being Available to Clients
We don’t bill by hours. We want to be accessible to our clients when they need our support. Client challenges don’t arise on a scheduled basis. Thus, our coaching sessions aren’t structured in a rigid schedule. We agree a baseline schedule, but remain accessible when our clients need more extensive support and counsel.
Nurturing Long-Term Relationships
We genuinely care about our clients. Long after the contractual period has ended, we remain in touch with our clients to support them. This often leads to repeat business, but the objective is to support our clients in and outside of contractual obligations. We supplement the coaching relationship by offering inspiring proprietary content to our clients through short videos/teachings and webinars.
Cultivating Inspiring & Authentic Leadership
To be inspiring, leadership must be authentic. Leaders can only be authentic when they understand who they are. With this understanding, leaders become centered and grounded. Having examined their own strengths and development needs, such leaders can more objectively assess their team’s and organization’s situation. Inspiring leaders tap and share their internal wisdom. You can feel an inspiring leader’s energy radiating. All leaders have a capacity to be inspirational, even as personal styles will vary greatly.
